Role: Senior Software Engineer
Location: NYC (onsite, 5 days in office)
Tech Stack: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, SQL, Docker, Git, Azure
Compensation: $125,000-150,000 Base + Annual bonus + Equity
Currently working with a Series A startup in the healthtech space with over $15 million in total funding! They are building a SaaS platform using greenfield methods to improve safety and patient outcomes in the OR by analyzing data of surgical procedures to enhance learning for medical professionals. Responsibilities:
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
- Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements
- Coordinate cross-functionally to insure project meets business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Participate in code reviews
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Strong fullstack development experience in Python, React, SQL, and Azure cloud
- Expertise in Object Oriented Design and Database Design
- Well-versed in computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts
- Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
Nice to Have:
- Previous early-stage startup experience
- Exposure to the healthtech space
- Experience building microservices architecture
