A world-renowned lab specializing in FIPS Evaluations is looking to hire a FIPS-140 Specialist Consultant to join their growing Security Validation team. This is a senior position on the team, requiring at least 5 years of experience, and 7 fully completed FIPS Validations in order to be successful in the role. The company is well-known in the field, and building out a new team with exciting prospects.
Requirements
- Expertise with FIPS 140-3 Validation, ACVP, ESV, CAVP testing
- Proficiency with Gap Analysis, Documentation, Source Code Review
- Complete at least 7 Full FIPS Validations
- CVP, or can acquire CVP within 180 days of employment
- Ability to act as a POC for customers. Customer-facing role.
- Knowledge of Internet Protocols, Coding Languages, Operating Systems (OS)
Preferred Requirements
- Experience reviewing Entropy Assessment Reports (EAR)
- Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Location: DC-Virginia-Maryland Area OR Fully Remote Anywhere in the US or Canada
Compensation: 120,000-200,000k base + bonus and benefits, based on experience
