Glocomms is partnered with an investment advisor looking to add a key member to their strong enterprise Vulnerability Management team. This Cloud Security Professional will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of the firm's cloud-based systems. With a focus on vulnerability management, container security, and other related areas, the ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in cloud security and a strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of security controls in cloud environments, with a focus on vulnerability management
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security risks
- Implement and maintain container security best practices, including image scanning and runtime protection
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for cloud-based systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are followed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security, with hands-on experience in AWS or Azure
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management tools (Aqua, Palo Alto Prisma, Wiz, CrowdStrike, Tenable Nessus, or Qualys preferred)
- Experience with container security best practices and tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Twistlock
- Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) tools such as Splunk or ELK Stack
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and tooling
- Experience with secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and tools
- Knowledge of network security, encryption, and authentication protocols
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are a plus
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
Candidates should be willing to work on-site in either Malvern, PA or Dallas, TX Tuesday through Thursday each week.
