Description:
We are seeking experienced Production Engineers to join our client within Investment Banking working in front-office market finance to provide technical support on infrastructure projects. This mission will be within a team dedicated to the Equities and Commodities market activities and involves extensive involvement in various operations, including handling numerous requests, incident management, and delivery, within a complex and dynamic environment typical of market finance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to business lines for application services based on the Sophis software package and an environment of several calculation grids.
- Ensure monitoring, high availability, security, standardization, automation, and industrialization of applications.
- Manage the evolution of applications in qualification and production phases.
- Manage heterogeneous computations and compute farms (thousands of windows/linux cores)Work closely with Equities and Commodities trading environments, understanding the sensitivity and critical nature of their operations.
- Experience and knowledge of the business environments of capital markets banks is an advantage.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows platforms; familiarity with UNIX platforms (Solaris, Linux).
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Perl, Shells, PowerShell, PHP, etc.
- Monitoring tools: Zabbix, Dynatrace
- XLdeploy and XLrelease would be an advantage.
- Experience with Control-M Scheduler, Tibco Datasynapse, and other in-house distribution systems.
- Ability to work effectively in an international context, including Front-to-Back activity, booking, P&L
- calculations, and risk management.
Project Description:
- Support Equities and Commodities business applications, including follow-up and maintenance in operational conditions.
- Develop a functional vision of the Information System for Equities and Commodities businesses.
- Conduct advanced analysis and diagnostics of technical incidents, ensuring proper reporting.
- Manage heterogeneous computations and compute farms (thousands of Windows/Linux cores).
- Integrate perimeter applications into DevOps tools.
- Manage technical migrations, obsolescence, or vulnerabilities.
- Actively participate in projects in collaboration with various stakeholders.
- Qualify and deploy application processing, including writing instructions and documentation.
- Industrialize, standardize, and ensure application security
