Glocomms is currently leading a search for a PreSales Consultant for a global technology leader, that has for many decades provided ERP solutions in the manufacturing, distribution, retail and services industries.
As a PreSales consultant, you will use your experience to provide support to the salesforce (direct and channel), offering an in-depth knowledge of the technical requirements and business use of company products to close sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales team in their sales campaigns by helping identify and quantifying the company´s value proposition and best solution
- As a dynamic presenter you are confident and relish the opportunity to present to C-level executives other potential clients
- Perform discovery sessions, workshops, webinars to uncover business needs and drivers
- Provide business expertise by documenting processes and providing workflow analysis
- Support potential customers in their evaluationof company solutions
- Act as an advisor to Product Managers to:
- Discuss and provide input to potential product development
- Test output from product development - Travel to customer sites throughout Europe.
Requirements:
3+ years of hands-on experience as a sales engineer/presales consultant, preferably at an IT Enterprise or ERP Software company.
- Experience working in the manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of cloud or web solutions
- Good working knowledge/experience of business systems such as CRM, ERP is vital as the CPQ solutions will integrate with these types of solutions.
- Critical and quick thinker
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience presenting software to customers or stakeholders.
- Curious by nature and an eager learner
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree or similar
