With growing demand, the company is currently seeking a Mobile Software Engineer (iOS or Android) to join their team in Chicago, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete development assignments on time with a high level of quality
- Create work estimates based on technological concepts and requirements documentation
- Participate in digital technology projects in all stages - from concept to implement, and through all phases of the software development life-cycle
- Support regular project releases
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional Mobile Development (iOS or Android) experience in a company/production setting
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Multiple years of experience in developing large scale mobile applications using Swift/Objective-C OR Kotlin/Java
- You have created 1 or more mobile applications available in Apple's AppStore or in Google's PlayStore
- Experience working with large codebases, managing shared resources and libraries
- Expert knowledge in all phases of the life-cycle of mobile development
- Experienced in working with a variety of stakeholders across technology and business groups
Bonus Points If You…
- Have created 1 or more mobile applications with over 100,000 downloads
- Can accomplish agile development, including daily scrum and weekly iteration reviews and planning
- Can work on the optimization of code, testing, challenges, and troubleshooting for mobile phones
- Have experience with consuming SOAP web services
- Have experience with GIT source control management
- Are advanced in communication skills with the ability to clarify application requirements via phone/email with business partners in addition to relying on technical requirements documentation.
