A market-leading company in the Big Data & Analytics market - in the Operational Database Management Systems area is seeking a Senior Channel Account Manager DACH to join its German team.
As a Channel Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving forward business opportunities, as well as building and developing relationships with new customers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop key Partner relationships, identify sponsors, and nurture technical, alliance, and sales relationships
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the political and organisational structure of a targeted prospects
- Understand the competitive landscape and how the company's data platform fits into a total enterprise solution
- Achieve/overachieve your quotas quarter by quarter
- Meet with partner senior executives (CEO, VP Development, CTO) on a regular basis
- Represent the company at sales conferences to promote their data platform and services
Skills and experience required:
- 8+ years related sales experience
- Proven track record
- Hunter profile focusing on new and existing business through channel partners
- Previous experience working in the software industry, ideally selling DB, MW or data analytics solutions
- Knowledge of IoT & ML is a strong plus
- Fluent in German and English
- Strong customer empathy and advocacy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and goals appropriately
- Ability to handle changes in direction and work priorities with ease and positive attitude
