A global market leader in the IT Services industry is seeking a Account Executive, focusing on the Public Sector to join its German team.
As Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving forward business opportunities, as well as building and developing relationships with both existing and new customers.
Responsibilities:
- You will develop a sales strategy in the assigned territory with a prospect list in the in Public Sector in Germany
- Uses industry expertise to generate new opportunities or to expand and enhance existing clients' opportunities in order to build the pipeline and grow the revenue
- Set direction for business development and solution replication
- Achieve/overachieve your quotas quarter by quarter
- Manage internal and external customer relationships.
Skills and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2+ years of managing full sales cycles in the Public Sector
- Directly related previous work experience
- Demonstrated capability of achieving higher levels of sales quotas
- Understands products, solutions or service offerings as well as competitor's offerings to be able to sell large, complex solutions
- Knows strengths and weaknesses of key competitors and how to leverage this knowledge in the accounts
